About Ashley E. Nimitz
Ashley E. Nimitz is a Senior Associate at Midgett Preti Olansen. Ms. Nimitz has extensive estate planning, administration, and litigation experience, including providing guidance to fiduciaries regarding their duties, navigating the probate process, managing and distributing assets, maintaining and preparing financial documentation, and, if necessary, advising clients on how to defend or contest fiduciary actions or protect their interests as a beneficiary.
Ms. Nimitz has a diverse background that makes her an apt advisor for clients navigating both simple and complex matters, taking into consideration each client’s particular needs to ensure that their wishes are properly memorialized and seen to fruition, including probate avoidance techniques.
Ms. Nimitz is a Virginia Beach native and is admitted to practice law in both federal and state court in Virginia. She graduated from Longwood University with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Homeland Security. She received her Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law. After law school, she practiced locally and before coming to the firm worked at an Am Law 50 firm.
Ms. Nimitz is actively involved in our community. She currently is a member of the Future Generations Board for the Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters (CHKD), a member and former long-time President of the Little Neck Circle for the King’s Daughters, and Ex Officio President of the Virginia Beach City Union.
