Eliza L. DeLar

Eliza L. DeLar is an Associate Attorney at Midgett Preti Olansen. She earned her Juris Doctor from Villanova University School of Law, where she served on the board of the Pro Bono Society and held the position of Managing Editor of Student Works for the Villanova Environmental Law Journal. Prior to attending law school, Eliza graduated cum laude from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. After law school, Eliza practiced law locally with a focus on domestic relations litigation before shifting her practice to concentrate on estate planning, bringing her to Midgett Preti Olansen. Eliza is committed to providing thoughtful, personalized legal solutions, and she takes pride in guiding clients through some of the most challenging times in their lives. Her empathetic approach and practical experience allow her to serve each client with care and diligence. In addition to her estate planning work, Eliza is certified as a Guardian ad Litem and represents children in court proceedings throughout the Hampton Roads area. Outside of the office, Eliza enjoys spending time at the beach with her husband and their mini Australian Shepherd, Millie.
