Coronavirus (COVID-19) Advisory

Home > News > Coronavirus (COVID-19) Advisory

As the U.S. is beginning to grapple with COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and its implications, we hope you and your families are remaining healthy and safe during this time. Our current plan is to remain open and continue operating while taking additional precautionary measures as recommended by the Virginia Department of Health and CDC. By following these guidelines, the health and safety of our employees and clients can be protected while we continue to serve you. Our infrastructure also allows some of our professionals to work securely from a remote location which will ensure business continuity should the spread of the virus continue.

As a precaution, you will be asked (both when we confirm your appointment and when you arrive at our office) whether you or an immediate family member 1) is experiencing flu-like symptoms, or 2) has returned from out of the country in the last 14 days. If the answer to either of these questions is “yes,” you will be asked to reschedule your appointment. Please also limit the number of people you bring with you to our office to only those that are essential to your meeting.

We also would like to remind clients that there are many options of interacting with our attorneys and staff that don’t include physically coming to our office. If your matter may be handled by telephone conference, video conference, or some other means, please call us to reschedule your meeting.

Please call us at (757) 687-8888 if you have any questions or concerns, and above all, be safe.  For additional information please visit the Virginia Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control.
