About T. Jonathan Turner

T. Jonathan Turner is an Associate at Midgett Preti Olansen concentrating in the area of trust and estate litigation. Mr. Turner has civil litigation and estate planning experience, and endeavors to bring a sense of calm and peace of mind to clients involved in guardian and conservatorship actions and trust and estate fiduciary/beneficiary disputes.

Mr. Turner graduated from Covenant College with a B.A. in History and a minor in German, and competed as an NCAA Division III tennis player. He subsequently earned his law degree from Regent University School of Law, where he received a book award in estate planning – having received the highest grade in the class. At Regent, Mr. Turner also served on the law review board, honor council board, and was actively involved as Vice-Chairman of the alternative dispute resolution board – winning a national negotiation competition, placing as a finalist in a regional negotiation competition, and receiving the Alternative Dispute Resolution Award upon graduation (presented to the graduating student who demonstrated the highest degree of excellence in alternative dispute resolution).

Mr. Turner has lived in the Hampton Roads area for the majority of his life and, prior to joining Midgett Preti Olansen, practiced locally, including at an Am Law 50 firm.

When he is not hard at work, Jonathan enjoys spending time with his wife, Jess, reading, playing tennis, weightlifting, and good conversations over coffee.
